Josie is a Classical Pilates teacher with a decade of experience in the wellness industry and a lifelong passion for movement. With a background in competitive sport and qualifications spanning yoga, strength training and fascial stretch therapy, she brings a broad and considered understanding of the body to her practice.
Her own Pilates journey began during a prolonged period of illness, when she turned to the Method as a way of reconnecting with her body. Inspired by her experience, Josie trained as a Classical Pilates instructor with Pi Academy, with the intention of sharing the transformative qualities of the Method with others.
Her approach is further informed by a postgraduate diploma in psychology and a deep interest in the relationship between mind and body. She believes that meaningful movement extends beyond physical strength and alignment, cultivating greater awareness, confidence and connection within the body.
Josie is passionate about making the Classical Method accessible to every body, whilst honouring its precision, integrity and tradition. Her teaching is intuitive, attentive and engaging, with a focus on helping each client develop a deeper understanding of their own movement
